REPORT
On the first and second days of Silver Week, we held an event called "Make your own paper bags, envelopes, and book covers."
As the event coincided with a local elementary school's sports day, reservations were not very good, so we welcomed walk-ins. We were able to successfully find participants, and the whole museum was bustling with the holiday spirit, making the two days a time when the museum was bustling again for the first time in a long while.
At the workshop, memorable flyers and favorite posters from close by will be quickly transformed into small envelopes of all sizes.
Some children made book covers not only for paperbacks but also for manga. The last one was the most difficult, paper bags. From square pieces of paper, they made long paper bags, and from a large poster, they made souvenir bags that could fit A3 size items. Both children and adults were delighted, saying that it would make a great gift bag!

We would like to continue holding workshops in the future while avoiding crowds.
