New Year's Workshop
REPORT
Happy New Year!
We look forward to your continued support of Karuizawa New Art Museum this year.
Greetings from Karuizawa, where the temperature is low and even a small amount of snow doesn't melt.
It is very cold here, with temperatures reaching -10 degrees, but we were blessed with good weather over the three days of our traditional New Year's workshop, and were able to welcome in the New Year safely.
Due to the COVID-2021 pandemic that has been ongoing since March of last year, the number of people attending "Art for the New Year 3" was only one-third of the usual amount, but we had a wide range of participants, from locals to people from the Tokyo metropolitan area and Mie, as well as people from overseas currently staying in Japan.
The participants' serious looks and smiles created a warm and relaxing atmosphere for a while.
We pray that you will soon return to a safe and secure life.
We look forward to working with you this year as well.
