Why not try making a polar bear ornament to decorate your tree for Christmas? You can paint a wooden polar bear with a brush and draw a face on it. No reservations are required, and all materials will be provided. Anyone can easily make this, so please feel free to come along.
REPORT
On Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 11th, the weather was very clear.
The workshop was bustling with children taking part.
We held a craft workshop for the first time in a while. There were no prior reservations, but the workshop was well attended, mainly by local children.
There was a large turnout of over 50 people.
The steps were clearly defined, so even the adults had no trouble and enjoyed themselves a lot.
There were no major mistakes and each participant finished making a cute polar bear ornament.
It was an eye-opener to learn how to paint the scarf's patterns and eyes by making dots with a toothpick.
Thanks also to Mr. Miura, our museum staff member who worked so hard on this workshop and acted as instructor!
